Monitoring visit by Florida state program office brings everyone together

We've just completed another year as an AmeriCorps*VISTA project and hosted a monitoring visit to review the three year project.

Hue Jacobs - CNCS Florida State Program Specialist and Yvonne Thomas Walker - CNCS Grants Management Specialist spent the better part of a week with us; Hue reviewing the program side of the grant and Yvonne reviewing the financial side.

He spent a full day meeting with all of the VISTA members, and then met with the site sponsors at their offices the following day. Yvonne spent her time in the Volunteer Services office with Executive Director Adraine McKell.

We look forward to receiving a written report of their findings.

(Although Hue wouldn't sign a photo release, we hope that he doesn't mind that we've posted photos of him with some of our VISTAs and VISTA site sponsors on this blog.)
